MIDDLE EARTH

This would definitely have to be one of the most spontaneous trips I have been on. Between 10-13 days prior to leaving, my Scandinavian classmates requested that we do something different and exciting during the Spring break. Although I was never really keen or knew much about New Zealand, the idea somewhat grew on me.
Travel: Travel for me ALWAYS ends up like this. Usually a place I have never shown too much interest in, will always find an opportunity to arrive at my doorstep. It’s the most exciting travel of all, the thought of the unknown.
I would be lying if I said I wasn’t excited, especially because I was stoked to spend a couple of weeks with some of my favourite people.

After landing in Christchurch, we hired a 4WD. We got in it and drove all along the west coast of the South Island. Within the first 15 hrs of the trip, I fell in love. I fell in love with all that I saw (and believe me I saw a lot). I have not seen that much beauty in such a short space of time, let alone any space of time. It was breath-taking. In-fact breath-taking is an understatement. I cannot explain to you how beautifully diverse a country could be.

The entire of the trip was no different. We’d drive all day and arrive at a Backpackers resort, just shy of midnight, only to do the same thing all over again the next day.
Night markets, Pubs, Impeccable cuisine, Picturesque landscapes, Swimming through waterfalls, Half-day long hikes, Dancing the night away, Star Gazing, Drives through mysterious and forbidden territories. WE DID IT ALL.

Have to say, this was definitely a trip to remember and I’m so glad I didn’t do it alone. . I am certain this could be the most beautiful place in the world. If you don’t believe me, you’ll just have to check it out yourself !

New Zealand, I will definitely be back – very soon xx

WE COVERED ALOT OF GROUND!!!!
