HOT FIREPLACES 

 

 

For me personally, fireplaces are one of my favourite accessories in a home.

The thought of jamming to some tunes with a few pals and a guitar, watching a flick while being rugged up on the sofa or keeping your dinner party guests warm, all comes attached with the connotation of a fireplace.

Although fireplaces are beautiful, there are generally a bit pricey too. After spending a lot of money, it is important to ensure that the fumes that are being given off, do not harm you or your family & pets.

Bioethanol is a readily available and efficient fuel which doesn’t add smoke, ash or soot. These types of fireplaces are odourless and a lot safer and greener because they are a lot more environmentally friendly.

SO … WHAT EXACTLY IS BIOETHANOL?
It replaces traditional fireplace methods. Bioethanol is a renewable energy composed of plant by products (sugarcane and crops). The product of this ends in a clean emission of Heat, Steam and Carbon Dioxide. The carbon dioxide is absorbed in the plants and then creates a cycle of combustion energy making bioethanol a carbon neutral source

  Due to the fact that there is no smoke or hazardous substances a chimney is not required. Traditional ventilation systems (as stated below) are sufficient to exhaust the carbon dioxide.

  Traditional ventilation is required in order for the fireplace to work efficiently as some amount of undesired CO2 accumulation needs to be extruded. However, natural ventilation can function properly and reduces the carbon dioxide poisoning.

  As there is no toxicants in the fuel, the fireplace can be operated as much or as little as you want it.

  The only servicing the fireplace will need is refuelling and cleaning when required.
